If there's one trait that’s common to all at plugHR, it's being lifetime learner. We have somehow figured out a way to learn out of any experience; good or not so good. So kicked we are about this learning nature that once in a few months we almost shut ourselves into a deliberate state of idleness to just learn and think and do nothing else.
Thankfully plugHR has created various formats through which continuous learning is possible with out depending only on shutting off.
Focussed workshops like HR Sociale - digital media learning for HR professionals and HR911- the HR operations best practice workshops are great way to gain tight learning shots. HR Sociale dwells on building expertise in use of social mediums like facebook, Twitter, linkedin, YouTube, slideshare and other tools for HR objectives like hiring, employee connect, competitive tracking, trendspotting etc whereas HR 911 explores areas like HR operations planning, HR impact measurement, creating employee engagement models, real time business connect for HR etc. These workshops are carried out both in physical format as well as webinars.
Lots of learning at plugHR emanates from our original work both on ground and in our minds; we have some of the finest minds around here after all and we know that work done is not just force but force multiplied by displacement. So in our workshops, we try to operationalize HR concepts and this approach has done wonders to the confidence of professionals.
